Melbourne author event for teachers, librarians and interested grown-ups
I’m appearing at an event in Melbourne. It’s a wine and cheese night where teachers, librarians and other interested grown-up can have us childrens’ authors to themselves. We’ll be talking about our latest books and chatting over a drink afterwards. I don’t often get down to Melbourne, so if you can come along I’d love to see you there. RSVP to littlebookroom.com.au to ensure your place.

Book launch for ‘Friday Barnes’!
I’m launching my new book “Friday Barnes: Girl Detective” at The Children’s Bookshop in Beecroft (Sydney) on Saturday 12th July at 2pm. Please come! I’d love to see you all there. I’ll be doing a reading, explaining my creative process and throwing lollypops at children’s heads. Admittance is free, but it’s a good idea to call the bookshop first to reserve a spot (02) 9481 8811.
Nanny Piggins available in the UK!
If you live in the UK, or if anyone you know lives in the UK, please spread the word – all nine of the Nanny Piggins books are now available there as ebooks. Nanny Piggins and I strongly urge you to buy them. The citizens of my mother country have gone too long without access to Nanny Piggins’ wise words and wonderful adventures. Hopefully they will also be available as physical books before too long.
Here’s a couple of links, but they will be available at any UK ebookseller
