Here’s me doing a Nanny Piggins presentation. The stage was a long way from the audience so I moved a coffe table right up close and did the presentation standing on that. It was a wonderful crowd and great day.

Thank you to everyone who made my recent tour of Canada and the USA such a huge success.  I had a wonderful time.  I’ve been home for a week and half and I’m only just starting to get over the jet-lag and exhaustion from the crazy scheduling.  But I’m so pleased I got to visit so many schools and talk with thousands of fantastic kids.  I’m already planning my next North American tour!

People are always asking when I will write a new Nanny Piggins story – well I’ve done it!  ‘Nanny Piggins and the Problem Cat’ was written especially for this anthology of short stories.  It is on sale now in Australia.

My January 2017 North American tour is filling up fast.  But there are still spare times in Toronto (Canada) and Maryland/Washington DC (USA).  If you live in these areas and would like me to visit your school send me an email at raspratt@nannypiggins.com.  I do a high energy, educational and entertaining author presentation – even if your students have never heard of me, that won’t hold me back, I guarantee it will be awesome!

On Friday night I won the preschool television AWGIE (Australian Writers’ Guild Award) for a Sydney Sailboat script I wrote.  It was an awesome night.  Barry Humphries, David Williamson and Bruce Beresford were all there.  If you look closely at the photo you can see the acceptance speech written on the back of my hand.
