That’s a wrap! I just finished my last event for Book Term 2019. In the last eight weeks I’ve visited 24 schools, given 53 presentations, taught 7 writing workshops, done 1 store event, 1 literacy festival, driven over 2000 kilometres, spent 10 nights away from home, slept in my car 3 times, flown to Victoria twice and finished writing a book. I am very tired now. Thank you to every school I visited and every student/teacher/librarian/bookseller I met. Thank you to my fellow authors for your constant social media support. And thank you to my hard working speakers agents. I have had an epic experience. Xoxo
Turns out slipping down a 4m rope is not such a good idea 2 days before a book is due. Pinkies are surprisingly important for typing. The letter ‘a’ comes up a lot.
Have to use this phrase in every manuscript. Sometimes a joke is in there just for me.
PESKI KIDS 4 is due on Monday. Henry is helping me edit.
