What I did on my day off.

A bower bird has built its nest in my garden, just like in FRIDAY BARNES, UNDER SUSPICION. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for sapphire bracelets. #lifeimitatingart

My faithful watchdog, Henry. He defends the house by acting as a tripping hazard.

Did a story telling event today. My daughter brought a book to read so she wouldn’t have to listen to me. #toughcrowd

I’m going to be telling stories this Saturday at 2pm at Bowral Uniting Church hall. I’m kicking off with ‘Pigerella’ a story I wrote for TOTAL QUACK UP a collection of short stories that goes on sale next month.

Breakfast this morning provided by Puffin Books. Gotta love a grown-up party where they send you home with a party bag.

The paperback of FRIDAY BARNES 4, NO RULES now on sale in the USA. Phil Gosiers’ cover looks awesome!

Nanny Piggins came to THE PESKI KIDS signing @thebookshopbowral today just so she could take advantage of the 20% off offer @bowral_sweetsandtreats for customers with a signed copy of the book. People talk about a bull in a china shop, but they should be more worried about a pig in a lolly shop.

Thank you to everyone who came to @thebookshopbowral today! I had so much fun. After all the international and interstate travel I’ve done this year it was so nice to have an event I could walk to from home.

THE PESKI KIDS appeared on Bong Bong St today! The Bookshop Bowral put up an awesome display. So lucky to have the most supportive local bookshop in the world! I’ll be signing books in store this Saturday from 11.30am.

My Book Week (which really goes for 5 weeks) commitments are finally over. Thank you to all the wonderful kids I’ve met!
